Yiddish Lullabies and Love Songs

Join other Russian-speaking Jews for dinner and a performance, presented as part of our Shabbat Shabbang series. Inna Barmash is back at the JCC with songs from her album, Yiddish Lullabies and Love Songs, which premiered at Joe’s Pub as the culmination of a COJECO BluePrint Fellowship. The performance will draw from songs collected in prewar shtetls in 1920s Ukraine as well as from contemporary Yiddish art songs. Join us as we step back to yesteryear with some of the greatest melodies of the 20th century. This program is part of the Shabbat Shabbang series.
