I grew up Kiev, Ukraine where I received my BA, from law college. At age 21 I immigrated to US, and working as a software delivery Advisor in Insurance fields. Also, I am serving as a Vice President of Jookender where I can unveil my passion about Judaism. Having been raised in the former Soviet Union, I am aware of the long-standing conflicts Jewish people have faced while seeking to practice their cultural and religious beliefs in lands amidst anti-Semitism. As the Vice President of Jookender my mission to share and teach Jewish values with families, kids, and teenagers.
Mission:
Jookender strives to support diverse communities by teaching and demonstrating Jewish values and by offering programs that assist members in finding their way to the larger Jewish community.
Jookender is dedicated to introducing Russian-Jewish values and Judaism rich heritage to the members of the Russian speaking Jewish community of greater Boston and to provide activities and programs that assist individuals and groups from this community in finding their own way to the larger Jewish community. Jookender helps to define R-J values through building family bonds and Jewish peoplehood, working directly with families, educators, and volunteers.
