Project Roots enables Russian-speaking Jewish families conduct genealogical research and explore their family roots by accessing archives and materials in the US, Eastern Europe and former FSU with the assistance of a professional researcher.

Originally from St Petersburg, Reuven received his secular education at St Petersburg State University, and studied Jewish law in both Israel and Australia ( BL in Talmudic Jurisprudence, and Rabbinical Ordination from the Chief Rabbinate of Israel ) His major hobby is tourism, and it motivated him to become licensed tour guide in Israel, and to organize various Jewish trips to exotic places like India, China, Norway and others He is currently working in Manhattan beach community as Founding Director of his new educational initiative, Jewish Explorer- seeking to find inclusive, welcoming and intellectually honest approach to Judaism, staying true to its values and tenets His motto is " Celebrate your Judaism"
