Sofya Pinkhasov is the Senior Development Executive for UJA-Federation of New York’s and leads the Russian Division. She joined UJA after ten years of experience on Wall Street, most recently leaving the role of Vice President at Goldman Sachs. Since moving to New York City in 2005, Sofya has been involved in various capacities with the Russian-speaking community as a lay leader and volunteer. She was born in Moscow and emigrated to the US in 1994 from Kislovodsk. Currently, Sofya resides in Great Neck, Long Island with her husband and two kids. Now as part of the UJA family, she hopes to continue to grow the relationship and partnership between UJA and the greater Russian-speaking community of New York City.
