Katya Rouzina


RSJ Engagement Associate, Jewish Federation of Columbus

Originally from St. Petersburg, Russia, Katya grew up in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She has lived in Madison, Wisconsin, Austin, Texas, and Jerusalem, Israel. She received a B.A. in Linguistics from the University of Texas at Austin and an M.A. in Slavic Languages and Cultures from The Ohio State University. Passionate about her Jewish identity, Katya currently works at the Jewish Federation of Columbus in Ohio's capital where she provides empowering, pluralistic, and lay-leadership-driven engagement opportunities to Russian-speaking Jewish and post-Soviet young adults ages 21-40 in the Columbus metro area. In her free time, Katya loves to sing.
