About Event

The Fifth Paragraph is a multimedia performance that blends story-telling, video art, and live music. It tells the story of immigrating from Soviet Ukraine to the U.S., right before the collapse of the Soviet Union. It is told through the eyes of Olia’s 10-year-old self.

Olia Toporovsky is deeply grateful to present this work with the support of a grant from the COJECO Arts Against Antisemitism Initiative. It is made possible with PATH funding through the Mayor’s Office for the Prevention of Hate Crimes and the Jewish Community Relations Council of New York.

The performance runs in two parts, totaling 90-100 minutes.
