Russian-speaking Jewish Families with children ages 6-12 are invited for an unforgettable weekend experience at the majestic grounds of Camp Isabella Freedman in Falls Village, CT.

Discover the history, uniqueness, and influence of Jewish theater and learn about its enormous impact on Jewish identity and culture. Learn about the rebellious ballerina, Maya Plisetskaya, while creating movement compositions. Enjoy a dance improvisation class inspired by Mark Chagall, Vasilii Kandinsky, and Isaak Levitan. Create costumes, enjoy hand theater, pantomime, and much more! Talented actors, educators, and artists as well as leading experts in Jewish theater will facilitate the program.

Older and younger siblings are welcome to join the retreat. The weekend will also include Shabbat and Havdalah celebrations, time for reflection, meditation, delicious meals, and a community of friends.
