We invite Russian Speaking Jewish Professionals of NYC to learn with Rabbi Elie Kaunfer and get ready to start the New Year right!
We will analyze one of the core prayers of the prayer book as a way of approaching the question: are traditional prayer formulas able to express ones own values and ideas in prayer? What should one do when they “disagree” with the prayer’s content? Does one have to understand every word in order to have an authentic prayer experience?
