About Event

Discover the often overlooked practice of Jewish Meditation in two potent seminars tailored to Russian-Speaking Jews. These practical techniques – from your own tradition – have the potential to greatly improve your life and happiness.

Monday, June 1st:
The Path of the Russian Speaking Jew, A Journey Inward
Cantor Natasha Hirschhorn, Sheila and Sheldon Lewis

The first part of this series will begin with an introduction discussing a unique path to transformation and self-actualization for a Russian-Speaking Jew, making this a highly enlightening and tailored conversation for those in attendance that share this heritage.
Monday, June 15th:
Letting Go and Letting In: A Blueprint For Living Your Life As A Prayer
Rabbi David Ingber

During this second part of this series we will delve deeper into the wisdom of Romemu’s Rabbi David Ingber as he draws on many sources of Jewish wisdom and meditation such as Kabbalah, Hasidic folktales, and Jewish meditation techniques.

7 pm, $10 admission
JCC Manhattan, 7th Floor
334 Amsterdam Avenue

Both seminars will be followed by sushi, refreshments, and socializing. Meditation materials will be provided for at-home practice.
