Zhopkin’s Choir is a new play by renowned director, playwright and artistic director Slava Stepnov. Zhopkin’s Choir is an original dark comedy depicting the lives of immigrant actors in New York. We are imperfect, and sometimes join our voices in the song of this choir with pleasure. This play seeks to depict how good it would be to live with dignity, and without subjecting each other to deceit and betrayal. The play is in Russian. March 26, 28,29 and April 2-5, multiple showtimes

The casts of STEPS Theatre's shows include actors from Israel, Peru, Serbia, France, Germany, Ukraine, New Zealand, Ecuador, Argentina, and Russia, who now live in the Big Apple, in addition to actors from the US. Steps Theatre is performing in English, Spanish and Russian.
