What is RJKrug?
RJKrug is a Russian-Jewish Heritage Program for families with school-age children.

How Does it Work?
Family circles (up to 8 families) will meet for 8 educational events, September-June. The program includes interactive learning sessions at host families’ homes and extracurricular activities such as thematic city and museum tours and family Jewish holiday programs.

The same topics are explored separately and simultaneously by kids and their parents and facilitated by specially trained Jewish educators.

Program Schedule and Topics:
– Each family circle defines their schedule, by choosing the date and time for the sessions.
– Circle can choose the language of the sessions and a set of themes that matches the interests of parents and children from the following list:

  • Russian Jewish Heritage
  • Highlights of Jewish History
  • Classical Jewish books and stories
  • Jewish Tradition and Rituals
  • Israel and Jews around the globe

RJKrug professionals help each circle to customize their educational curriculum

Program Cost – $825 for the family

Intended program locations: Brooklyn and New Jersey

Who are the host families?
Host families graciously open up their homes to host RJKrug program for 6-8 families with similarly aged children in each location. You can join an existing circle or create your own.
If you would like to become a host family – please contact COJECO staff.
