Elena grew up in a former Soviet Union. Elena studied at a Jewish high school, went to Jewish camps and seminars as a camper, than became a leader and volunteer in Jewish organizations Hilel and Marom in Russia and Israel. Elena moved to Los Angeles at 2014, and was involved with Jewish Federation of Los Angeles as volunteer in hosting, promotion, planning and organizing events for RSJ families. Since 2017 Elena works as a family relations & camper care coordinator in camp Gesher for Russian-speaking jewish families.
