Marina Koyfman joined COJECO as a Marketing Manager. She was born in Kiev, immigrated to Israel in 1990 where she finished high school, served in IDF and completed her BA in Sociology and Anthropology and Art History from The Hebrew University in Jerusalem and MA in Public Communications from Bar-Ilan University. Marina worked in various roles in marketing and media - as a Copywriter in an advertising agency, as a Global Account Manager for a web start-up company and as an Account Executive in media publishing. She is excited to use her knowledge and creativity to promote COJECO programs and initiatives. Marina lives with her family in Brooklyn, New York.
Mission: We are the central hub for the Russian-speaking Jewish community in New York tri-state area. Our mission is to convene and connect the Russian-speaking Jewish community to build on our heritage through collaborative leadership, innovative engagement, Jewish education, and community capacity building.
COJECO was formed in 2001 as an umbrella organization for grassroots community organizations of Russian-speaking Jewish immigrants in New York to make their voices heard and respected. Today we represent over 30 such network organizations, including young adult leadership groups, Holocaust Survivors, professional associations, arts & culture organizations, and social justice groups.
