As part of the senior leadership team of the Genesis Philanthropy Group, Marina serves as the Director of Global Operations, responsible for the implementation of GPG’s Performance Measurement Framework, as well as directing GPG’s operations around the globe. Marina immigrated to the United States in 1989 from the Ukraine. After graduating summa cum laude from New York University with degrees in Economics and Computer Science, she spent seven years working in project management consulting for large and mid-sized companies, as well as non-profit organizations. She managed technology, marketing and product development implementations, as well as conferences and fund-raising events. A trip to Israel in 2004 inspired her to rekindle her childhood involvement in the Jewish causes, especially in organizations serving the Russian-speaking Jewish community. In 2009, Marina joined GPG, marrying her professional skills and lay-experience. Marina and her husband, Yosi, live in New York City with their daughter and cat.

COJECO was formed in 2001 as an umbrella organization for grassroots community organizations of Russian-speaking Jewish immigrants in New York to make their voices heard and respected. Today we represent over 30 such network organizations, including young adult leadership groups, Holocaust Survivors, professional associations, arts & culture organizations, and social justice groups.
