Sofia and her family left Russia for Israel when she was ten. While in Israel, she held a variety of positions in finance, and in program development for children and young adults. Since moving to Fair Lawn, NJ a few years ago with her husband and children, Sofia helped founded Russian Speaking Israelis in Northern New Jersey, a steadily growing group (now more than 200 families) that gathers regularly for special events, parties, and Israel-focused fundraising. She also teaches at the All Bright Center in Fair Lawn, NJ.
