Irina Klay

Russian-Speaking Jews Program Manager, Jewish Community Federation of San Francisco

Irina Klay grew up in Odessa, Ukraine, graduated from high school in Israel and moved to United States in 1998 with her family. Her cultural background and focus on community collaboration has led her to a number of volunteer opportunities and community leadership roles. Since 2012, Irina has been a Community Engagement Impact Program Manager at the San Francisco Jewish Community Federation working with the Russian Speaking Jewish Community in San Francisco and Bay Area. The goal of her job, Irina believes, is to provide a wide array of entry points for young Russian speaking adults to find a comfortable place in the larger Jewish community.
